Its compact dimensions, flat, accurate frequency response and outstanding dynamic range make the ProCenter 2000 a great choice for systems based around Definitive BiPolar Series speakers as well as systems based on ProCinema components.

The Secret to Its Big Sound
Competing center channel speakers of this size usually have weak lower-midrange response; that part of the audio range that contains the “warmth” and “body” of voices and musical instruments. The ProCenter avoids this critical problem by pressure-coupling their exclusive BDSS technology drivers to two equal-sized mid/bass radiators cleverly placed on the sides of the speaker. This technique doubles the lower-midrange/bass radiating area of the speaker without increasing the size of the enclosure.

Definitive Technology ProSub 1000
The ProSub 1000 features a 300 Watt amplifier driving a high-excursion 10 inch front-mounted direct-radiating woofer that is pressure-coupled to an 10 inch Low Bass radiator on the bottom of the enclosure. The net radiating area of the ProSub 1000 is 39% greater than a single 12 inch woofer but with better speed, pitch definition and control. Pressure-coupled Low Bass Radiator on the enclosure bottom works to produce deep, soul-stirring bass. Side-mounted volume control makes bass level adjustment easy and convenient.

The ProMonitor 1000 is Definitive’s best satellite speaker in the acclaimed ProCinema Series. Four ProMonitor 1000s along with a ProCenter 1000 and ProSub 1000 makes a complete ProCinema 1000 system.
