    This perfectly matched Acoustic Audio by Goldwood seven speaker system contains five 8" Rectangular in-wall/ceiling speakers and two 8" Round in-wall/ceiling speakers. This system is perfect for use in multi-room sound systems and surround Sound home theaters. Because the speakers mount seamlessly into any wall or ceiling, there is no need to worry about unsightly speaker wire cluttering up your home or office. The White Grills will match an array of home interiors, or can be easily painted to coordinate with a specific decor. Aesthetics aside, the sound quality of these speakers is unmatched. Each two-way speaker Features high rigidity polypropylene cones with soft dome tweeters and butyl rubber Surrounds. The result of this sophisticated engineering is 2100 watts of peak power Handling (1050 watts RMS handling).

      We purchased these for our new home surround sound - we had also bought them about 4 years ago for our basement media room- we were pleased with the sound quality so decided to get them for our new home as well.       These speakers were exactly what I expected - a reasonably priced alternative for mid-level Dolby Atmos deployment (5.1.2 arrangement). I am thoroughly pleased with their sound reproduction and response. Do yourself a favor and buy some actual CL-2 Rated 16AWG speaker wire to wire these into the wall. The wire that comes with the packaging was an afterthought and useless.

      I did not give 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1. The center channel is not a true center channel style speaker. ( I did not install this channel, but used my old center instead) 2. The speakers didn't come with an install template, which made installation a bit tougher.

      Highly recommend for 80% of installations. I'm sure there are some audiophiles that will not find these suitable for their application, but any reasonable person will be perfectly satisfied with these.

      I have these speakers in a home theater with a strong powered sub and they sound great. I was leary of the 18 gauge wire that came with them so I installed the two front speakers with it and listened/tested. The volume was poor and quality was so so. I replaced the provided wire with 14 gauge, finished the install and I am thrilled with these speakers. For the money I think they would be hard to beat.

      I installed 5 of the 8-in speakers in a small game room for my son. 2 of the 5 speakers were distorted and crackled at all volumes. The sound quality from the speakers that did work was poor. I threw these speakers away and replaced them with Klipsch in-wall speakers that sound amazing. I would not recommend these speakers to anyone.

      These speakers did not come with installation instructions. Although the cut out dimensions were posted on Amazon as bullets underneath cost, I wish these speakers came with a stencil to trace for installation. I am using these with a Sony Receiver and a Polk Audio Sub-woofer. The speaker quality is nice. I would recommend these.

      These speakers have a really lousy cross-over. The high frequencies are distorted. The midranges are lacking. Very disappointing. I couldn't even stand to listen to it for more than a minute I wired up the woofer and tweeter directly to my amp without any cross over and they actually sound acceptable that way. Now I am looking into replacing and/or bypassing the cross-over vs. returning them and I haven't decided what to do yet. I will have to pay a lot of shipping to return them. Whatever I do has to be done 7 times for 7 speakers, so it might get costly.

      On the positive side, the mounting mechanism is good and the grills are very attractive.

      If you are considering this, also keep in mind you will need a subwoofer for your system to be complete. Also, throw away the 24 gauge wire that comes with it, the cheapest good quality option is lamp cord - it comes on a big spool for $20.

      Installed in the ceiling do to easier wire access. I'm running off a Onkyo 8.2 surround sound system with a powered sub.

      The speakers are a Polycarbonate composite & seeing to be of decent quality. The plastic housing has six clamps that hold it in place, but they do break if your not careful.

      I'm still adjust the sound quality but with 8 8" speakers it will make some bass...

      Good value for the money and works well. You could also easily up grade the speakers using the mounts later on...
