EDIT - I saw other reviews that say the player chews up the groves. This wasn’t a problem with me because I replaced the cartridge of the needle to a diamond tip (which can be found around $10 on amazon) and my records played just fine. Also keep in mind if you are playing 78s you need to buy a 78 rpm stylus.
This Player IS AWESOME! We had it for a day and it’s great! Sure, speakers don’t so that great but really? IT IS a RECORD player, not a portable HDspeaker. It looks retro and sounds retro! My player doesn’t seem to be affected by the “Bluetooth Mode” announcement. Looks like Musictrend made some changes! Totally recommended to any record enthusiasts who want to play records on the go.

The sound is good, especially considering the size of the player
The sound is good, especially considering the size of the player, which is nice-looking and fits our living room well. Compact design is great. Works as it should and seems to be excellent quality. Loved the classic style with modern technology capabilities. Being able to plug my phone into the player is a nice option to have, but the main reason I bought this is because of my new found love to record digging :) All around no complaints, would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for an affordable, classy, well built record player.

An awesome entry level record player for the price, and I love the color as well. Musitrend has smooth finish and makes listening to music easy. It can connect iPhone. Great sound and easy to operate. I use it every morning while getting ready for work and most every night.
