Worked pretty much exactly as expected as soon as I put batteries in. No programming necessary. I have a 2020 Samsung Smart TV, so it's still holding up to new models. I really like the feel and layout. Reminds me a bit of my Apple TV remote. Sleek, simple, minimal.
Some of the buttons must be programmable but I haven't bothered. Haven't tested the voice controls, etc.
Does what it's supposed to do much better in fact and SOOOO much easier than the default remote that came with the new TV (which has too many buttons, overcomplicated, pretty much impossible to use in the dark).
Grateful this was so easy. Highly recommend.
